Our Approach

Initial Meet & Greet

At SAH Design, LLC, we believe in establishing a strong foundation for every project. We start by setting up a meeting to discuss the project objectives and expectations with our clients. We will also discuss budget, zoning requirements and the process of hiring a builder as required. Following the initial meeting, we prepare a proposal for design services, which outlines the scope of work and project timeline. Once the proposal is approved, we move forward to the next phase.

Depending on the project there are usually 4 different phases:

Construction Administration

Existing Conditions

This phase serves as the starting point for most projects. We will take measurements, locations of utilities, structural locations, and pictures to get your project on paper. This will allow Schematic Design and Development to take place.

Design

During this phase an initial layout will be developed and fine tuned to a final design of your liking. This will include floor and roof plans, elevations, conceptual details, and 3D renderings as required to your satisfaction. Structure, materials, fixtures, and finishes will be discussed during this phase and allow us to move onto to the Construction Document Phase. Once your approval has been given then we will move onto the Construction Document and Permit Phase.

Construction Documents & Permit Phase

During the Construction Document and Permit Phase, our team prepares all the necessary construction documentations. In most cases we prepare permit drawings, which are submitted to the town building department for approval. Decisions about final materials and finishes are still in motion until the drawings are completed. We remain involved throughout this process, providing guidance and answering any additional questions that may arise.

Construction Administration

SAH Design, LLC is committed to providing ongoing support beyond the completion of the project. Depending on the specific requirements, we offer site visits and continued assistance with construction-related queries, ensuring a successful completion and client satisfaction.
